Margaret "Maggie" Alberts, 63, of Wichita, KS
Maggie died January 31, 2018 at her home in Wichita, KS. Funeral services are 2 PM, Monday, February 5, 2018 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Marty. Burial is in the Presbyterian Cemetery in Greenwood. Visitation is from noon until 2 PM at the church. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
Margaret Ellen Alberts(Archambeau) made her journey to the spirit world on January 31, 2018 at her home in Wichita Kansas. Margaret was born on February 26, 1954 in Wagner SD to Pete LeRoy Archambeau Sr and "Dolly" Florine Catherine Hayes. She grew up in South Dakota and in Kansas and attended schools in both states, but eventually attained her GED in South Dakota. While living in Kansas Margaret attended classes at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita and became a Heart Monitor Technician there.
Margaret was all about her family and loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader and absolutely loved books. She also enjoyed summer nights and crocheting. On June 30, 1987 Margaret was joined in marriage to Donald Lee Alberts and together they had 4 sons. Margaret also had a son from a previous relationship. Throughout the years they raised their family in South Dakota and Kansas. Margaret had a special relationship with her 3 granddaughters Stevie, Stephanie, and Sheryl and helped to raise them into the strong young women that they are today.
Grateful to have shared in her life are her husband Donald Lee Alberts of Wichita KS, sons: Kenneth (Anne) Robol of Greenville NC, Steven (Melissa English, Mitchell SD) Robol of Wichita KS, Pete (Angela) Robol of Pukwana SD, James (Audra) Alberts of Pukwana SD, and Michael (Felicia) Alberts of Wichita KS. Her sisters: Beverly Fredericks of Mitchell SD, Colleen Medicine Horn of Mitchell, and Denise (Wayne McGhee) Archambeau of Fort Thompson, SD. Her brother Jerry Archambeau of Idaho. Her Grandchildren Stevie Dillon of Wichita KS, Stephanie Robol of Wichita KS, Sheryl Robol of Wichita KS, Alex Robol of Greenville NC, Jackson Robol of Greenville NC, Zack Robol of Greenville NC, Donald Robol of Fort Thompson SD, Holden Farha of Goddard KS, Damian Robol of Fort Thompson SD, Dalton Robol of Pukwana SD, Mallory Abernathy of Oacoma SD, Cassidy Alberts of Chamberlain SD, Kayla Alberts of Chamberlain SD, Alex Alberts of Wichita KS, Kamie Alberts of Wichita KS, and Trinity Ruff of Wichita KS. Her great grandchildren: Blake, Adonys, Reagan, Otto, Levi, Eli, Linkin, Lilliana, Ava, Jennett, Hayes, Larinity and Eden. And many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. She was preceeded in death by her parents Pete Archambeau Sr and "Dolly" Florine Catherine Hayes; her grandparents Thomas Hayes, Corrine Sherman, Joe and Maggie Archambeau; her brothers Levi, Homer, Jack, Pete Jr, and Jimmy; and her sisters Charlotte, Dorothy, Mae, and Dollares.
