Margaret Fuchs, 96, of Wagner

Funeral services are 10:30 AM, Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial is in Lakeview Cemetery, Lake Andes. Visitation is Wednesday from 4 to 7 with family present from 6 to 7 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.

Margaret Fuchs, daughter of Adolph Sr. and Agnus (Bartunek) Juran, was born January 29, 1922 in Charles Mix County. She died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner. Margaret attained the age of 96.

Margaret lived with her parents on the homestead farm by the eight mile corner east of Wagner. She attended Choteau Creek District No. 5 in Charles Mix County through the eighth grade. She then helped on the farm and worked at the Tyndall Bakery.

Margaret met Albert Fuchs and they were married on November 19, 1951 in Wagner. A son, Allen, was born to their union on October 8, 1955.

Together they farmed raising hogs, cattle, chickens and milking cows.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, flowers, sewing, cooking and baking, word finds, crossword puzzles and playing bingo.

She became a resident of the Wagner Good Samaritan Society in 2012.

Thankful for having shared her life are her son Allen (Susan) Fuchs of Wagner; three grandchildren: Jennifer (Frederick) Ruiz, Curtis (Sherri) Fuchs, and Michael Fuchs (Kelsie Shaffer); five great grandchildren: Brandon Swatek, Peyton Ruiz, McKenzie Fuchs, Brianna Fuchs, and Gemma Fuchs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; husband Albert on December 8, 1993; and two brothers: Edward Juran and Adolph Juran.
