Peggy's funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church, with burial in the parish cemetery in Marty, SD. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner, followed by a wake service.

Margaret Ann "Peggy" Gullikson, daughter of Cecil and Fauniel (Hudson) LaGrande, was born June 11, 1949 at Idabel, Oklahoma. She died unexpectedly at her home in Lake Andes on Monday, July 24, 2017. Peggy attained the age of 68 years, one month and 14 days.

Peggy worked for most of her life as an owner of a restaurant in California. She returned to the Wagner/Lake Andes area and married Kenneth Gullikson on September 12, 2015 at the Rainbow Room in Pickstown.

Peggy was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Lake Andes, the Yankton Sioux Tribe and AARP.

Peggy will be remembered for her love of dancing, playing board games and collecting angels. She was a movie buff, Betty Boop fanatic and simply loved to have fun.

Thankful for having shared her life are her husband, Kenny; two daughters: Cecilia (Lucio Aranchibia) Bar of El Segundo, CA and Nicole (Richard) Bicardio of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; son, Jean-Paul Bar of Bend, Oregon; five grandchildren; three brothers: Quintin, William and John; two sisters: Anita Louise and Susan; and many friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters: Blanche, Eva, Kathy and Cecelia.
