Annie attended rural school through the eighth grade on the river bottom southwest of Wagner. She was the oldest daughter in her family and took care of her brothers and sister when they were growing up. Annie and her sister Helen Hyde moved into Wagner, where they owned and operated the Coffee Shop for eight and a half years. They later moved to the farm west of Marty, where they helped and cooked for their brothers on the farm. Annie and her son, Gerald built a new home and moved into Wagner in 2008. Annie became a resident of the Good Samaritan Society on June 8, 2010.
Annie was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Marty and also a VFW Auxiliary Member for over 50 years.
Annie enjoyed cooking, raising chickens, gardening, canning, putting up corn, making Barbie doll clothes and having holiday dinners with family. She especially loved having all the little kids around and having them stay with her. Annie never had any grandchildren, but many of her great nieces and nephews will always love her as their "Grandma".
Thankful for having shared her life are her son, Gerald Czerny of Wagner; and many nieces and nephews.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers: John, Melvin, Guy, Ray, Harold and Ed Kranig; and two sisters: Etta who died as an infant and Helen Hyde.
