Margaret Mamula, 84 of Wagner
Margaret has asked to be cremated. Her memorial service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the East Lake Andes Lutheran Church, with inurnment in the church cemetery. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home of Wagner is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family is asking you to donate to charity in Margaret's name.
Margaret Mamula passed into the arms of our Lord on April 16, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner. She was born March 19, 1928 at Ravinia, SD, the daughter of Chris and Cora (Johnson) Anderson.
Margaret attended all 12 years of school in Ravinia. She moved to Lake Andes and worked at Scotts Produce. Margaret married George Mamula, formerly of Troy, OH, in Lake Andes on April 9, 1956. Together they owned and operated G & M Produce in Lake Andes for several years. George brought with him a son, Richard Mamula and together they had a son, Larry Mamula.
Margaret and her sisters were inseparable in life. Together they cared for each other and others and spread love wherever they went. They always had a kind word and a hug for everyone.
Margaret is survived by her step-son, Richard and wife Karn of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son, Larry and wife Michele of Box Elder; two grandchildren: Mike and Rian Mamula of Chadron, NE; three step-grandchildren of Box Elder; six step-great grandchildren, all of Box Elder; brother Donald Anderson of Wagner and many nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband George; her parents; daughter-in-law, Sue; five brothers and four sisters.
