Marian Schuldt, 91, of Wagner
Marian died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner. Funeral Mass will be 10 AM, Saturday, February 2, 2013 at St. John Catholic Church in Wagner. Burial is in the church cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 6 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.
Marian A. Schuldt was born May 24, 1921 in Sioux City, IA, the daughter of Albert and Agnes (Weber) Vogel. She died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner. Marian attained the age of 91 years, eight months and six days.
Marian received her Teacher's Certificate and was a teacher for 50 years. She taught school in Todd County and Lake Andes.
Marian married John J. Schuldt on August 5, 1949 at Tyndall. After their retirement, she and John traveled extensively. John died on May 1, 1991.
Marian was a very active member of St. John Catholic Church. She also was volunteer at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner for 19 years. She became a resident of the Good Samaritan Society in December of 2003. Marian loved traveling, helping others, cooking and baking.
Marian is survived by a grandson, Webster Randall of Oregon; a sister, Ruth Burk of Cedar Ridge, CO; and several nieces and nephews.
Marian was preceded in death by her husband; son, Buddy Rowley; daughter, DeLores Randall; five brothers: Russel, Donald, Ralph, James and Lawrence Vogel; and sister, Virginia Kirschman.
