Marion "Mic" R. Irwin, 51 of Corsica

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Wagner Community Church, rural Wagner.

Marion "Mic" Richard Irwin, son of Delayne and Carol (Hudelson) Irwin, was born July 4, 1961 at Wagner, SD. He died Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Douglas County Memorial Hospital in Armour. Mic attained the age of 51 years, eight months and 15 days.

Throughout Mic's life, he enjoyed many jobs. He was able to travel the United States while working as a truck driver. He also was a carpenter and a welder, later in his life.

Mic married Michelle "Shelly" Wendorf on July 3, 2008. The joys in his life were his wife Shelly and three children: Travis, Shasta and Nash. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends, especially his nieces and nephews.

Thankful for having shared his life are his wife Shelly of Corsica; his children: Travis of Lake Elsinore, CA, Shasta, and Nash of North Platte, NE; parents Delayne and Carol of Corsica; three sisters: Cindy Starrett of Corsica, Jackie Harrington and husband Bill of Corsica, and Kim Davis and husband Jeff of Denver, CO; two brothers: Jeff and wife Bree of Corsica and Chris and wife Andrea of Armour; many nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Mic was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ivan and June Irwin, Richard and Maude Hudelson, great grandparents Palmer, niece, Anjel Leah Irwin, Aunt Sharon Lile, and cousin Missy Wunder.
