Mason Anthony Kazena was a healthy beautiful baby boy. He was born 7 lbs & 20 in long to McKenzie White Eyes and Bernard Kazena on the 15th day of April. His family was so excited to finally meet their precious blessing. From the very first hour he was born he was already smiling. He was the happiest baby we ever seen, and we loved to spoil him. Even though we've been told not to hold him so much or run to him as soon as he barely made a sound. But we didn't care. He knew he was loved and he smiled at every new face and was interested and got very excited in everything that was new to him.
He loved his little turtle boy and his binky, he never went without either of them - even for a minute. He loved when his older siblings Hendrix, Eli and Dreamer would play with him and make him laugh. All of them would talk to Mase and he would talk/babbel back like he understood them. He was such a happy baby. Only time he would get upset is when he wanted us to hold him. He was just learning how to roll, hold his toys and sit up on his own. We barely started feeding him baby food and he loved bananas and peas. And although Mom didn't like it Dad would give him a sucker to taste every now and then.
His Mom would always tell him that he could grow bigger than the sky but he will always be her tiny baby because he was the smallest and youngest of his siblings.
He is survived by McKenzie White Eyes and Bernard Kazena, his brother Hendrix Kazena and Eli White Eyes, his sister, Dreamer White Eyes, his maternal grandparents Chelsea White Eyes (Gillis Bear Stops) of Eagle Butte and Eric Wanng of Sisseton, his paternal grandparents, Robert Jost, preceded in death, and Bonita Kazena, and so many grandmas and grandpas in Heaven.
