Michael Boyd Weston, 58, of Wagner
Wake services were held at the All Tribes Fellowship Church in Wagner. Funeral services were 12 PM noon, Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the All Tribes Fellowship Church in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.
Michael Boyd Weston was born April 2, 1957 to Amelia Hare and Frank Weston. He started his journey home on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls.
Michael was born in Wagner, SD. He grew up on the Yankton Sioux Reservation and attended Marty Indian School, Flandreau Indian School and Sipi Art School in Santa Fe, NM. He enjoyed playing sports and was well known as a basketball player.
He has two daughters: Michaela Jean and Raven Leigh. Michael has five grandchildren: Ebony Tiger, William Standing Cloud, Amelia Standing Cloud, Evan Tiger and Ophelia Tiger. Michael was kind of a wanderer, he has been to numerous states: Ohio, New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, Nebraska. During his remaining days he lived in Sioux Falls.
He is survived by his daughters, Raven and Michaela; grandchildren, two brothers, Godwin and Barry; and sister Lafaye and numerous relatives.
