Michelle (Zephier) DeLaCerda, 71, of Sioux Falls

Michelle died Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. A Celebration of Her Life will be 1 PM, Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Wake services began Wednesday at the Community Center.

Michelle Marie (Zephier) De La Cerda was born March 21, 1950 at St John's Hospital in Rapid City, SD to Adelbert and Margarite (Ironwing) Zephier. She attended Marty Indian School.

Michelle had several job in her life but her profession was a hairsylist. She was dynamic with a vibrant sense of humor. She was organized and a wonderful cook. She loved music and loved to sing.

Michelle suffered greatly in the last few years but she was a strong survivor and fighter. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents and several siblings; her oldest son Brian, who we know will welcome her with open arms.

She is survived by her children: Bobby and Bobbinette Zephier, Becky Boydston, Michael Williams, Yadira and Micaela De La Cerda; granddaughters: Misha and Trisha Martinez, Joselyn Godoy, Margarita Mendoza; great grandchildren: Adrian Lagard, Juanito and Laylani Gonzalez; several brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews; many other grandchildren, great grandchildren and too many relatives to mention.
