Michael "Mike" Archambeau, 65, of Marty

Services will be 1 PM, Friday, October 27, 2023 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Marty. Burial will be at a later date in the St. Pauls Catholic Cemetery. Wake service will be 7 PM, Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the Marty Community Center. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Michael "Mike" Archambeau "Wakinya Ohitika" (Brave Lightening) was born March 24, 1958 to Stanton and Vangie (Picotte) Archambeau. He died October 24, 2023 in his home in Marty, SD.

Mike has two brothers, Conway and Kurt and one sister, Kimberly. Mike was born and raised in Marty. He had many jobs throughout his life, some of which took him to Aberdeen and Arlee, MT. This is where he raised Rhiannah, Jerrod, Michael and Jeremy. He then moved back home to his mother's family home in Marty. Mike loved our traditional way of life, he was a Sundance and pipe carrier. He was spiritually gifted and dedicated his life to helping others. Mike was always concerned for his family well being. For those that knew him, know that he was a simple, kind, private man. Even up to his dying day he was making his tobacco ties.

Mike was proud of his four children: Rhiannah of Wagner, Jerrod of Wagner, Michael of Greenwood and Jeremy of Vermillion. When Randy Little passed he took Gavin in as his own. His grandchildren are: Gavin, Angel, Miranda, Rebecca Star, Kirsten, Keenan, Jerius, Marcus, Mariah, Kaitlyn, Dwayne James, Tianna, Eve, Elena, Joel, and Alaura; and seven great grandchildren.

Mike will be remembered for having a small and riding his Harley-Davidson. You can look for him in the Milky-Way.
