Mike died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center in Wagner, South Dakota. Services will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation will be Friday from 11 AM until 6 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.

Mike Krsnak was born August 27,1916 on a farm east of Wagner, South Dakota, the son of Mike and Stella (Petrik) Krsnak, Sr. He died Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center in Wagner, South Dakota. Mike attained the age of 91 years, 10 months and 26 days.

Mike attended rural school through the eighth grade at Choteau Creek #5. He married Hattie Podzimek on September 24, 1940 in Nebraska. Together they farmed all of their life east of Wagner until they retired and moved into Wagner in 1981. Mike entered the Good Samaritan Center in 1999.

Mike will be remembered for his love of fishing and waterfowl hunting. He was a member of the Dante Lake Club.

Thankful for having shared his life are his wife, Hattie, of Wagner; four children: Dennis and wife Lee of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; Judy Dauble of Lake Oswego, OR; Jim and wife Linda of Chester, SD; and Terry and wife Julie of Rapid City; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Mike was preceded in death by two sisters: Ruby Martin and Pearl Clark and a brother, Ray Krsnak.
