Norma Nedved, 83, of Wagner
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. John Catholic Church in Wagner, with burial in the church cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 5 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner, followed by Rosary/Wake services at the church at 7 PM.
Norma M. Nedved was born March 23, 1933 in Wagner, SD to William and Lillian (Sterba) Broz. She died Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner.
Norma received her education north of Wagner in a country school and later worked in the telephone office. Norma married Clarence Nedved in Wagner on August 22, 1953. Together they farmed eight miles south of Wagner until moving into Wagner in 2006.
Norma was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Wagner, the March Band and the VFW Auxiliary. She will be remembered for her love of cooking and gardening, taking care of her flower garden, traveling and watching TV.
Thankful for having shared in her life are her husband, Clarence of Wagner; three brothers: Milo (Jo Oberg) Broz of Placerville, CA, Robert (Shirley) Broz of Wagner and Roland (Donna) Broz of Witchita, KS; two sisters-in-law: Betty Broz of Rapid City and Lois Broz of CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Donald Broz and Cleo Broz; and sister-in-law, Jean Broz.
