Olga Agnes Uherka, daughter of Joseph and Emma (Faltys) Nadrchal, was born January 9, 1915 at Clarkson, NE. She died peacefully Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Good Samaritan Society in Corsica. Olga attained the age of 101 years and 18 days.

At the age of three, Olga moved with her parents to a farm near Rogers, NE. Here she attended Country School #49 and helped her parents with farm work. Olga was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Presbyterian Church in Clarkson. She sang in the choir and played in the church band.

Olga was united in marriage on December 6, 1941 to Joe J. Uherka at the Bethlehem Chapel, Presbyterian Church near Howells, NE, by Rev. William Kovar. Joe brought his bride to Wagner, where together they farmed and raised Polled Hereford cattle on the Uherka family homestead. They later purchased the farm and lived there until they retired and moved into Wagner in 1982.

Olga joined the First Presbyterian Church of Wagner, where she taught Sunday School and Bible School. She also was a member of UPO, where she was Superintendent and also served on other offices until the church was dissolved in 1995. At this time, Olga and Joe joined the United Methodist Church. She was also a member of AARP, where she served in several offices, and the Historical Society, where she enjoyed doing volunteer work.

Olga and Joe enjoyed traveling together. She will be remembered for her enjoyment of doing fancy work, quilting and gardening. Her favorite flowers were roses and irises.
After Joe's death on May 15, 2006, Olga remained in her home into her latter nineties. She later moved to the Assisted Living Center in Armour and lived there for all but the last nine days of her beautiful and blessed life.

Thankful for having shared her life are her children: Janet and husband Melvin Horner, Daniel and wife Jeanne and Norman and wife Debra, all of Wagner; eight grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and her nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Olga was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one sister, Esther Remm; two brothers: Laddie and Joe; two nieces: Dorothy Bricacek and Betty Glodowski; and one nephew, Lloyd Nadrchal.
