Pam S. Carda, 66, of Dante

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 8, 2024 at the Assumption Catholic Church in Dante. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Friday, June 7, 2024 at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner, SD.

Pam was born on December 14, 1957 to Charles and Donna (Greger) Scott in Wagner, SD. She died peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. In 1976, she graduated Wagner High School.

Pam married Dan T. Carda on February 19, 1983. Together they farmed and raised three daughters: Brandy, Danielle, and Stephanie. Pam and Dan enjoyed 41 years together.

First and foremost, Pam loved her kids and especially her grandkids. She was always the kids' number one fan in their activities. Pam enjoyed having her grandkids spend the night and they enjoyed earning "Grandma Bucks."

In her younger years, she loved rodeos and riding her horses. She was an amazing cook and loved to cook for others. She liked to garden and can. She enjoyed working cattle and helping her husband with calving. Her idea of a vacation was camping and going fishing. Pam always loved to play pranks on her friends and neighbors. For years she threw darts with her husband and later on with threw with the Pink Ladies. Pam enjoyed watching the Dakota Farmers softball team. Later on she enjoyed reading all kinds of books.

Pam is survived by her husband Dan T. Carda; daughters: Brandy (Fernado) Ortiz and children Jasmyne and Reyna of Orem, UT, Danielle (Greg) Krcil and children Frank, Thomas and John of Wagner, and Stephanie (Matt) Hill and children Kahle, Jaxton, Emmery and Lydia of Dante; brother Glen (Pam) Scott of Wagner; sister Brenda (Tracy) Kirton of Tyndall; brothers and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Donna; infant daughter Kristen Marie; parents-in-law Steve and Dolores Carda; and infant grandson Joseph Charles.
