Patricia H. (Mulloy) Anderson, 80 of Wagner
Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Wagner, with burial at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, rural Platte, SD. Visitation will be Monday from 10 am to 5 pm at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner, followed by a 7:00 pm rosary/wake service at the church.
Patricia Mulloy Anderson passed away Thursday, November 1, 2007 at her
home in Wagner, SD, surrounded by her family. She was born April 14, 1927,
the daughter of Patrick and Anna (McDonald) Mulloy, in Rapid City, SD. Pat
attained the age of 80 years, six months and 19 days.
Pat graduated from Mount Marty High School in 1945. She attained her
Diploma Registered Nurse degree from McKennan School of Nursing in 1948. Pat
worked as a registered nurse at the Long Beach Hospital in Long Beach,
Washington and the Platte, SD Memorial Hospital. After moving to Wagner, SD,
with her family, she worked at the Wagner Community Hospital and the Indian
Health Services Hospital.
Pat married James Terry Anderson on June 23, 1951 at the Little Flower
Catholic Church in Sioux Falls by Father Joseph Anderson. After their marriage,
they moved to the family far in Platte, where they began raising their ten
children.Pat and Terry were blessed with 56 years together.
Pat was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and St. John Altar
Society. She was also a long standing member of the American Legion Greer Post
Auxiliary.
Pat was known by friends and family for her faith, sense of humor and compassion.
Thankful for having shared her life are her husband, Terry of Wagner; children: Mary Conner, Denver, Co; Jim (Sue) Anderson, Austin, MN and children: Jack, Nick and Katie; Joe Anderson, Kansas City, MO; Ruth Anderson (Frank Burnett), Evergreen, CO and children: Heather, Patricia Ann Anderson; Sharon Brown, Wagner and children: Brian and Sarah Brown; Kevin Anderson, Denver, CO; Bruce (Tila) Anderson and children: Anthony, Brendon and Jamie Anderson, Wagner; Bridget (Mike) Williams and children: Rachael, Samuel and Gracie Williams, White River; Janet Anderson and children: Tierra Axdahl and Terryn Hiller, Wagner; and one great grandchild, Bridget Anderson; one sister, Anna May Reecey, Dell Rapids; two brothers: Charles Mulloy, Florida and Maurice (Iola) Mulloy, California; brother-in-law, Ed Anderson, Seattle, WA; and many relatives and friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Janie; parents; one sister, Kathryn Mulloy; three brothers: Joe, Bernie and Patrick Henry Mulloy; and brother-in-law, Father Joseph Anderson.
