Patricia Dice, 68, of Pickstown, SD

Patricia died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at her home in Pickstown, SD. Memorial services are 11 AM, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Wagner Community Church in Wagner, SD. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM, Wednesday, September 23rd at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Eagle, NE. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner, SD is in charge of arrangements.

Patricia Ann Dice, daughter of Alfred Roy and Margie E. (Sammons) Chinery, was born May 2, 1914 at Gunnison, CO. She died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at her home in Pickstown, SD. Patricia attained the age of 68 years, four months and 15 days.

Patricia grew up in Gunnison and went to Nursing School in Pueblo, CO where she earned her nursing certificate as and LPN. She worked at Home Nursing Care in Gunnison, the Gunnison Nursing Home, and the Good Samaritan Nursing Homes in Ashland, NE and Wagner, SD.

Patricia married Ted F. Dice on November 24, 1961 at Meeker, CO when she was 20 years old. They were blessed with four children. Ted and Patricia moved to Nebraska in 1981. They semi-retired in 2000 and moved to Pickstown, SD.

Patricia was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Community Church in Wagner, SD. She enjoyed gardening and making latch hook rugs.

Thankful for having shared her life are her husband Ted of Pickstown, SD; her children: Patte Ragatz and husband Bob of Thornton, CO; Judy Vaughn and husband Matthew of Douglas, NE; Kelly Cooper and husband Greg of Alvo, NE; and Craig Dice and wife Cindy of Eagle, NE; seven grandchildren: Matthew Blose, Paul Blose, Stephanie Vaughn, Nathan Vaughn, Megan Vaughn, Melissa Cooper and Tanner Dice; and brother Glenn Chinery and wife Pauline of Gunnison, CO.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild, Denali A. Cooper.
