Patrick Thomas
Morrow
March 17, 1954 – May 22, 2026
Patrick Thomas Morrow, 72, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026 peacefully at his home.
Born on March 17, 1954, Patrick lived a life full of stories, laughter, and adventure.
Pat’s greatest love was trucking the open roads. He cruised behind the wheel for 40 years, traveling highways/interstates across the country. By the time Pat retired, he had traveled more than 6 million miles in his semi, a remarkable accomplishment that reflected his dedication, hard work, and love for the open road. Through countless sunrises, long nights, and miles of highways stretching across the country, trucking was never just a job to Pat — it was truly his passion.
He also enjoyed all-night gambling trips, where he played for the thrill of winning. Wherever there was a casino he tried his luck. He loved his trips to Las Vegas. One of Pat’s proudest and most unforgettable moments came when he accomplished a lifelong dream of winning a car at Fort Randall Casino.
Pat had a gift for telling stories. He never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel comfortable, welcome, and like an old friend. When Pat had a conversation with you, he made you feel like you were the only one in the world. Everyone knew his birthday was St. Patrick’s Day. The memories of sitting around listening to his stories will be cherished forever.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Marylou Morrow; his children, LaDonna Frederick (Edward Lagunas), Nikkie Duin (Frank), and TJ Frederick (Angelica); his brothers, Loren, Micheal (Lori), Todd; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; along with many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Carol Mae Morrow; and his granddaughter Dana Frederick.
Patrick’s memory will live on through the stories shared, the miles traveled, and the love he gave to his family and friends.
A Celebration of Patrick's Life will be held at Marty Community Center on Monday, June 8, 2026 at 4pm.
