IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Anthony
Flying Hawk
May 8, 1988 – July 24, 2024
Paul Anthony Flying Hawk, 36, of Lake Andes
Paul died Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2024 at the Cedar Presbyterian Church, rural Lake Andes, SD. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Wake services will begin Thursday at the church.
Paul blessed us with his presence on May 8, 1987 and continued his journey on July 24, 2024.
He enjoyed spending time with his kids, family, and friends. At gatherings he enjoyed being the chef on the grill. You would know that he was there by his laugh in a crowd. He enjoyed playing softball, horse shoes, fishing, bean bags, and shooting hoops with his boys, nephews, and niece. He had an outgoing personality by greeting everyone with a hello and handshake. He participated in the "Haunted Grounds" at the Fort Randall Casino for 2 years as the Texas Chainsaw Character, which scared many.
He graduated from Andes Central High School. After that he worked many jobs, but his passion was for welding.
He leaves to mourn his dad Robert; sons: Anthony, Neo, Kingsley, Knightley, and their mothers Julia and Lauren; siblings: Danny (Sarah), April (Rudy), Candace (Ed), Jacob (JoMarie), and Nate (Sarah); many nieces, nephews, cousins, and grand-babies.
Preceded in death by his mom Maggie White Hawk and nephew Ethan Flying Hawk.
