Pearl (Barnhart) Cubbage, 33, of Lake Andes
Pearl died Friday, May 8, 2015 west of Greenwood, SD. Funeral services are 1 PM, Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Burial is in the Holy Fellowship Episcopal Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Wake services will begin Tuesday at the Legion Hall.
Pearl Hermaine (Barnhart) Cubbage was born January 3, 1982 at Wagner, SD, the daughter of Norma Jean BrownBear and Merle Barnhart. She May 8, 2015 in Greenwood, SD.
Pearl graduated from Wagner Community School in May of 2001 and went on to the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City. She later obtained her Realtors License in Salt Lake City, UT. She lived there for several years and owned her own business, Golden Spike REO. In November of 2010 she met Zachary Cubbage in Idaho. They were married at Tyndall, SD on July 6, 2012. To this union, Bodey William Cubbage was born on November 9, 2012.
Pearl was an avid lover of animals and photography, she enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, riding horses, planting flowers and baking. She was her husband's best friend.
Survivors include her husband Zachary and son Bodey of Lake Andes, mother, Norma Jean Brown Bear of Lake Andes; Aunt Mildred Stedronsky of Wagner; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and grandmothers.
Pearl was preceded in death by her father Merle and brother, Dustin Barnhart.
