Pearl Beem, 95, of Wagner

Funeral services are 2PM, Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Wagner. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. Visitation will be an hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Pearl Esther Beem was born October 21, 1918 to Henry and Emma Witte in Baxtor, Iowa. She died Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner.

On December 27, 1938 Pearl was united in marriage to Ernest R. Beem in Toldeo, Iowa. After marriage, she was a house wife her whole life. Ernest died in July of 1983.

Pearl enjoyed many things in life including: sewing, gardening, crosswords and Bingo. She also loved to enter sweepstakes contests and won a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda. She enjoyed playing board games with her children and grandchildren.

Pearl was a member of the Moose Lodge.

Thankful for having shared her life are her daughter Betty and husband Wesley Keatts, of Pasco, WA; Janith and husband Dorlan Rolston of Wagner, SD and son Larry and wife Brigitte Beem of Waynesville, MO; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; 28 great-great grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Bridgeford of Marshalltown, IA; and brother-in-law Calvin Beem and wife Linda of Iowa.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Ernest; her parents; her son Richard and his wife, Verna; daughter, Kathy Jo; grandson Daniel Beem; and sister, Thelma McDonald.
