Peterson Charles Neal, 47, of Lake Andes
Funeral services are 10 AM, Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial is in the Native American Church Cemetery, rural Wagner. Wake services begin Friday at the Community Center. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.
Peterson Charles Neal was born to Peter H. Neal and Antoinette Milford on June 10, 1970 in Fort Defiance, AZ. Peterson died Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Peterson grew up and spent most of his childhood years in Lukachaukai, AZ. He then moved to Sheep Springs, NM for a short period of time, and then back to Lukachukai where he spent his teenage years.
In APril of 1995, he moved to Lake Andes, SD with his uncle Mike Neal where he met Danita Bruguier. They spent 22 years of their lives together and within those years they had two children, Danitra and Preston Neal.
Peterson enjoyed different hobbies such as watching movies, reading books, playing cards, beading and quilting. But what he enjoyed the most was the lives of his two little grandsons, Brayden and Grayson.
Peterson is preceded in death by his father Peter H. Neal; sisters, Lee Anna Neal and Wilma Yazzie; Paternal grandparents, Totsoni and Elsie )Shorty) Neal and maternal grandparents.
He leaves behind to mourn his mother Antoinette Milford; sisters: Geneva Milford, Debra Johnson, and Claudia Benalli; brothers: Perry Neal, Gordon Johnson, and Kenneth Yazzie; and many other relatives.
