Randall Flood, 52 of Lake Andes

Wake services began Thursday at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Funeral services are 11 AM, Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Center with burial in St. Phillip's Episcopal Cemetery in Lake Andes. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Randall was born at the Wagner PHS Hospital on October 30, 1963 to Judy Drapeaux and Sylvester Flood. He died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at his home in Lake Andes.
Randall grew up and went to school in Lake Andes. He attended higher education in Hawarden, IA and in Sioux Falls, where he lived for a few years.

He enjoyed Fancy dancing at PowWows when he was younger, visiting relatives, hanging out with his friends, cruising around the Rez and just being himself. He had his own special brand of humor and he was able to find humor in the most unusual situations. His birthday was so close to Halloween that he enjoyed the holiday and perfected his Vampire Costume over the years. There was never a question of what he would dress as on Halloween.

Randall worked at the Ft. Randall Casino starting as a Change person and eventually worked in the cage. He always shared good memories of the friends and co-workers he met while working there.

He really enjoyed his relatives on the Flood side and had many good memories of their visits.

Randall is preceded in death by his father, Sylvester "Buddy" Flood and his grandparents, Carl and LaVina (Gassman) Drapeau and his uncles, Walt, Marvin and Robert Gassman. He also missed his favorite dog "Snoopy".

Randall leaves behind his mother, Judy Drapeaux, sister Michelle Kalkowski, nephew Michael Fying Hawk, aunts Marilyn and Sharon Drapeau, Faith Spotted Eagle, Donna Mae Houseman, uncle Ronald "Jock" Gassman and a host of other relatives and friends.
