Raven Zephier, 32, of Sioux City, IA, formerly of Wagner

Raven died Friday, February 7, 2025 at Mercy One Medical Center in Sioux City, IA. Funeral services were 1 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the YST South Gym in Wagner. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood. Wake services began Thursday at the South Gym.

Raven Rhuvea Zephier was born to Theron "Ralph" Zephier and Elizabeth "Liz" Gullikson on May 3, 1992. She graduated from Wagner Community School in May of 2011. After graduation she worked at Fort Randall Casino, Good Samaritan Society-Wagner, and various other jobs. While working she lived in Wagner, Huron, Sioux City, and various other cities. She was a devoted mother to her only child  Therious Oscar Alexavier Zephier. He was her pride and joy. Raven spent most of her life sharing her smile with the world. She had a personality that was contagious and made sure everyone felt the love she carried. You could always find her playing music, singing, and dancing. In her younger years, she enjoyed life on the Powwow trail, spending time with her homegirls, and nurturing the younger ones around her. Raven also had a love for fashion, make-up, art, and photography.

She is survived by her mother Elizabeth (Jerome Sr.); brothers: Jonathon, Tyler, Simon, Cade, Keanu, Theron Jr., Jerome Jr., and Jowi; sisters: Brittany, Sakura, Lolali, and Imara; aunts: Kellie, Christel, Yolanda, and Lindsey; uncles: Jody, Travis, Justin, Adam, Jerad, and Tyler; grandfathers Althabert "Bootie" and Jerry; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was welcomed into the spirit world by her father Theron Sr; great maternal grandparents Henry and Bertha Hare and Elmo Sr. and Agnus Gullikson; great maternal grandparents Fred and Ellen "Tootie" Greger and Moses and Zelma Zephier; maternal grandparents Elmo Jr and Linda Gullikson; paternal grandparents Ethelyn Zephier and Dennis "Chalk" Greger; grandmother Cassie "Cass" Greger; brothers: James and Jerome Gullikson and Jeron Picotte; uncle Terrance "Terry" Zephier; and cousins Randi Lin Gullikson, Cody Gullikson, and Jayden Olson.
