Pastor Raymond Hatfield, 42, of Lake Andes
Memorial Services will be 6 PM, Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at the Lake Andes Baptist Church at 296 Ave. S. in Lake Andes.
Raymond Lee Hatfield was born March 6, 1973 at Jerome, Idaho, the son of Carl and Elsie Marie (Hall) Hatfield. He died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at his home in Lake Andes.
Ray graduated from Clear Lakes Christian Academy in Buhl, ID in 1991. He earned his Bachelors Degree and his Masters in 1998 at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL.
Ray served as a pastor in churches in Burley, Rexburg and Victor, ID and most recently at the Lake Andes Baptist Church in Lake Andes, SD. He also taught at the Dakota Christian School near Platte, SD.
Ray had a big heart and love for people. He loved to see people come to Christ. Serving the Lord was the most important thing in his life. Ray also loved fishing and woodworking.
Thankful for having shared his life are his parents, Carl and Marie Hatfield of Buhl, ID; brother Devin and wife Krystal Hatfield of Rupert, ID; and niece Chelby and husband Adam Vogt of Pocatello, ID.
Ray was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
