Rebecca Bruguier, 30, of Marty

Funeral services are 2 PM, Monday, May 18, 2020 at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Burial is in the Cedar Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Lake Andes. Prayer services will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Community Center. Friends may visit between 4 to 7 PM Saturday and Sunday. Proper social distancing measures will be followed. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Rebecca Ann Bruguier was born June 8, 1989 in Yankton, SD to Stuart and Matilda "Pinkie" (Horned Eagle) Bruguier. She died Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. She has six brothers: Ben, Richard, Douglas, Gregory, Lawrence and Baptiste; as well as three sisters: Sara, Meredith and Constance.

All of Rebecca's years she attended Marty Indian School and later attended the Ihanktowan Community College in Marty. She worked a short while at the Fort Randall Casino as a desk clerk in the hotel. Rebecca loved the movie ATL, the rapper T.I., and cheered on her Pittsburg Steelers. She will be remembered for one of her favorite songs "Neon Moon" by Brooks and Dunn.

She spent a lot of her time helping her family by watching her beloved nieces and nephews. Rebecca will be remembered for her smile, kind heart and good company.
