Renae J. Frick, 50 of Pickstown
died Tuesday, August 12, 2008. A memorial service will be 11:00 am Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Wagner Community Church in Wagner. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home of Wagner is in charge of the arrangements.
Renae Jeanette Frick was born January 3,1958 in Yankton, South Dakota, the daughter of Duane and Verna (Thornton) Hansen. She died Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Renae attained the age of 50 years, seven months and nine days.
Renae grew up in Yankton. She attended grade schools in Yankton and graduated from Yankton High School in 1976.
Renae married Charles Frick on April 9,1983 in Yankton. They lived in Pickstown where they raised their daughter, April.
Thankful for having shared her life are her husband, Chuck of Pickstown; daughter, April of Pickstown; stepson, Chris and wife Brea Frick of Yankton and their children: Chelise,Kaleb, Isis, Ayden and Sophia; parents, Duane and Verna Hansen of Phoenix, AZ; four sisters: Cindy and husband Brad Curry of Phoenix, AZ; Roxanne and husband Cyler Groseth of Phoenix, AZ; Karen Kokemore of Caldwell, TX; and Joy and husband Matt Hansen of Lincoln, NE; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and special aunt, Carole Bardwell of Normal, IL.
Renae was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Renae will be remembered by all for her tender heart, her love for all of her family and all living creatures. She especially loved spending time on the river with her husband and family dog, Olive. She loved crafts, plants and the family pets she often caller her babies.
