Robert E. Dvorak, 85, of Wagner
Funeral Services are 2 PM, Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Wagner Community Church in Wagner. Burial is in Lakeview Cemetery in Lake Andes. Visitation is Monday from 4 to 7 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.
Robert E. Dvorak was born at Lake Andes, SD on December 8, 1932, the son of James V. and Antonia (Kisley) Dvorak. He died Friday, June 1, 2018 at the Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
Bob attended rural school southeast of Lake Andes. He was united in marriage to Charlotte A. Dvorak at the Presbyterian Church in Lake Andes on June 23, 1956. Together they farmed west of Ravinia at first and then moved north of Marty in the early 1960's. They farmed there until they retired and moved into Wagner in 2010.
Bob will be remembered for his love of visiting with people, polka music, playing his accordion, playing cards, playing Bingo at the Good Samaritan Center, his pet dogs, fishing, and hunting geese and deer.
Thankful for having shared his life are his wife Charlotte of Wagner; two brothers, Ernest N. and Richard (Leatha) Dvorak, all of Lake Andes; two sisters, Darlene Wuest of Lodi, CA and Jeanice (Gene) Anderson of Mitchell; brothers-in-law: Leonard (Karen) Dvorak of Lake Andes, Larry Dvorak of Mount Vernon, and Jack Anderson of Mount Vernon; and several nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Paul Wuest and sister-in-law Norma Anderson.
