Robert Kozik Jr., 68, of Twin Lake, MI

Robert died Tuesday, August 29, 2023 west of Wagner, SD in a motor vehicle accident. A graveside memorial will be held at 1 PM Saturday, September 9th, 2023 located at Egleston Township Cemetery followed by a luncheon at VFW #7729 6285 East Apple Ave.  In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Western Michigan Veterans Center.

Robert S. Kozik Jr. of Muskegon, MI passed away Tuesday, August 28th 2023 in Wagner, South Dakota due to injuries sustained after a collision with another vehicle. Robert was born April 15, 1955 to Robert Kozik and Beverly J. Kozik (Reed). He served two years in the United States Coast Guard as a Seaman Apprentice then lived on to retire as a truck driver with Foreway Trucking in Coopersville, MI.

He is survived by his mother Beverly J. Kozik, sister Brenda J. Kozik, his children Mark McElroy (son) married to Stephanie McElroy, Allen Kozik (son), Celeste Kozik (daughter) and Ryan Kozik (son) married to Nichole Kozik along with several grandchildren. He was cared for selflessly by Carol Kozik (Workman) throughout his battle with renal failure and liver cancer.

Robert is preceded in death by his Father Robert Kozik and grandson Zander A. Kozik.
