Funeral services are 11 AM, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the All Tribes Fellowship Church in Wagner. Burial is in the Native American Church cemetery, rural Wagner. Wake services will begin Tuesday at the church.
Roberta Mae Necklace was born September 14, 1950 in Yankton, SD, the daughter of Benedict and Sybil (Eagle) Necklace. She died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at the Prairie Estates Care Center in Elk Point.
Roberta's hobbies were making Native American crafts (God's Eye) & cooking. Roberta received a Certificate of Culinary Arts from United Tribes College, Bismark, ND.
Roberta's memory will be cherished by her sons: Terry Wayne and Steven Leslie (deceased); and her daughters: Michelle Renee (deceased); Andrea Renee and Sandra Marie; sisters: Sunbeam, Rochelle (Pearl) and Renee (LuElla); and brothers: Parnell and Carl; and seven grandchildren.
Roberta was preceded in death by her sisters: Delores and Bernice; and her brother, Raymond; and parents, Benedict and Sybil Necklace.
