Russel Flood, 47, of Wagner

Russel died Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at his home in Wagner. Wake services will begin at 7 PM on Thursday at the Marty Community Center in Marty, SD. Funeral services are 10 AM, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Community Center. Burial is in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery in Marty. Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Russel Flood was born on July 19, 1970 in Wagner, SD to Warren Flood, Sr. and Florence McBride. His siblings included, Brothers- Warren Jr., Jason, David Sr., Nathan, Leon, and Matthew Flood, and Micheal Redid; Sisters- Janell and Nora Flood. He had two daughters and one son, Warren Flood III, Shawneisa Flood and Cheryl Geonni.

He was employed at the Fort Randall Casino for 18 years and recently employed at Ohiya Casino in Nebraska. He enjoyed playing guitar, listening to music, camping, hunting, laughing, telling jokes and stories. He was very generous and friendly; his voice was known by many, he was quick to remember names. He could find something good in any person that he met. Russ had an immense amount of respect for his elders. He always had a good outlook at life. He had many friends and family that loved him.

Russel is preceded in death by one older brother, Warren Flood, Jr. and younger sister, Nora Flood.
