Samuel Sun, 30, of Wagner

Samuel died unexpectedly Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at home in Wagner. Funeral Mass will be 1 PM, Friday, January 26, 2024 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Marty. Burial will be in St. Paul's Catholic Cemetery. Wake services will be held Thursday at the All Tribes Fellowship Church in Wagner.

Samuel Louis Sun was known to all by Sammy. He loved to spend his days playing basketball with everyone and spending time with his kids. He liked playing all kinds of video games with them too.

Samuel passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 24, 2024. He was born to Charlene Sun and Marvin Drappeaux Jr. Sam was born at Wagner Community Hospital. He attended Pierre Learning Center and Crow Creek.

He leaves behind his mother Charlene Sun; sisters: Stephanie, Marla, and Eva; one special aunt he called mom Ella Huapapi; and his children Lae-la, Lucian, and Elijah Roan Eagle.

Preceding him in death is his dad Marvin; brothers Francis and James Denoyer; grandparents Eva and Herbert Huapapi and Marvin and Bonnie Drappeaux; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
