Sandra Mae Bruguier, 66, of Wagner

Sandra died Friday, May 8, 2020 at the Dougherty Hospice House in Sioux Falls. Visitation hours will be Monday from 10 AM until 7:30 PM at the Marty Community Center Gym. She will then be cremated and memorial services will be held at the Dunseith Log House in Denseith, ND. Burial will be held at the Native American Church Cemetery, rural Wagner, at a later date.

Sandra leaves to mourn five children: Morris Bruguier Jr., Sonia Forschen, Laura Bruguier, William Bruguier and Brandi Belgrade; she also raised Janessa Bruguier and Joseph Bruguier.

Sandra attended Flandreau Indian School where she met her husband, Morris Bruguier Sr. After they graduated, they moved here to the Yankton Sioux Reservation to raise their family.

Sandra worked at Marty Indian School for many years. Her last position was as head cook. She was totally dedicated to her hob, she loved her job.
