Shirley Eitemiller, 83, of Wagner

Private funeral services are being held. Burial is in the Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Wagner.

Shirley Eitemiller was born February 24, 1937 to John and Myrtle (Nelson) Sip in Wagner, SD. She passed away at the Avera Bormann Manor in Parkston, SD shortly after midnight on February 16, 2021.

Shirley had two brothers and one sister. She attended country school and graduated from Wagner High School in 1955. After high school she worked on the family farm east of Wagner.

Shirley married Herman Ehrisman, Jr. and together they had five children. She was married to her second husband Arnold Eitemiller for 35 years. Arnold passed away in 2017.

Shirley was an avid crafter and was a well known vendor at numerous area craft shows. She made and sold wall hangings, pillows, soft books for children and kitchen towels, just to name a few.

Shirley is survived by her sons: John (Nadine) Ehrisman of Parkston, Jeff (Donna) Ehrisman of Lester Prairie, MN; her daughter JaVon (Bernie) Christensen of Magnolia, MN; her brother Vernon Sip of Wagner; six grandchildren: Crystal Remme, Ryan Wittler, Travis Ehrisman, Kyla Ehrisman-Heisinger, Matthew Greger, Tiffany Ehrisman and six great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Arnold, her son Joe, her daughter Jennifer, a grandchild Jennifer Lynn Wittler, her brother Burnell Sip and her sister Marcene Blaha.
