Stephanie Rae Polzine, 45, of Wagner, formerly of Custer

Stephanie died Friday, July 12, 2019 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. No services will be held.

Stephanie was born September 21, 1973 at Ellsworth Airforce Base in Rapid City, SD. She graduated from Custer High School in 1992. In February of 1997 she gave birth to her daughter Hailey. She then went on to pursue an associates degree in business and marketing at Western Dakota Tech. She graduated in May of 2002 after giving birth in April to her son Dylan. She married Cory Polzine on June 5, 2004 in Custer. Over the past 15 years she spent her time raising her children and managing two businesses with Cory.

Known to her friends as Steph, to her nephews as Big Steph, and to her grandsons as Grandma Steph, she will be remembered for many things. Her love for her children, her love for all animals, especially her dogs Punky and Bowie, and her love of fishing were some of her best qualities.

Thankful for having shared her life are her two children: Hailey (Blake) Jensen and their two children Oliver and Finnegan of San Clemente, CA, and Dylan Polzine of Custer; her mother Dixie Augustine of Wagner; two brothers: Jason (Laryssa) James and their son Aadin Oleson of Tuscon, AZ and Jeremy James and his son Jaxson of Tuscon, AZ; as well as special cousin Donna Treloar of Tuscon, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her father Wayne Augustine of Wagner and grandparents Earl and Colleen Hicks of Custer.
