Suzanne Bartunek, 85, of Wagner

Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 4 PM at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner. Funeral services are 2 PM, Monday, October 14, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner.

Suzanne "Susie" Bartunek was born November 25, 1933 at Tyndall, SD, the daughter of Fred and Elsie (Dunn) Ferguson. She died Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the Good Samaritan Society in Wagner.
Susie graduated from Tyndall High School. She married Alfred Bartunek in Tyndall on February 21, 1951. Together they farmed all of their lives until retiring in 1998. They moved into Wagner in 1999. Susie also started working at the Good Samaritan Center in Wagner in 1985.
Susie will be remembered for her love of family gatherings, Sunday morning breakfasts, going for rides in the country, gardening, canning and Diet Pepsi.
Thankful for having shared her life are her husband Alfred of Wagner, three daughters: Penny (Rick) Marshall of Wagner, Rose Bartunek of Wagner, and Peggy (Kenny) Avant of Avon; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Susie was preceded in death by her daughter Gail, parents, three brothers and three sisters.
