Tami Rae Lenards, 51, of Springfield

Tami died Friday, June 4, 2021 at her home in Springfield, after a 5 year battle with the effects of West Nile. No services will be held at this time.  Condolences may be sent to the family at PO Box 305, Springfield, SD 57062.

Tami Rae Lenards was born April 3, 1970 at Watertown, SD the daughter of Victor and Bonnie (Urban) Lenards. She died Friday, June 4, 2021 at her home in Springfield, after a 5 year battle with the effects of West Nile.

Tami was raised and attended school in South Dakota and Oklahoma. She attended Mt. Marty in Yankton.

Tami will be remembered for her love of the simple things in life: she loved to be outside in the sun, fishing (especially for paddlefish), boating and golfing. She loved being with her family, playing cards and enjoyed decorating for the holidays.

Thankful for having shared her life are her son Jordan (Katrina Vyborny) Lenards of Sioux Falls; mother Bonnie (Richard) Barrett of Springfield; brothers: Kevin (Susan) Lenards of Tulsa, OK, Chuck (Shelly) Lenards of Watertown; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Tami was preceded in death by her father and grandparents Norval (Ada) Urban.
