Tanisha Bruguier, 27, of Sioux Falls

Tanisha died Thursday, September 5, 2024 in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Monday, September 9, 2024 at the YST South Gym in Wagner. Wake services will begin Saturday, September 7 at the gym

Tanisha was brought into this world by Jolynn J. McBride and David Red Owl Sr. on December 6, 1996. Born in Yankton, SD.

Tanisha grew up in Wagner, SD on the Yankton Sioux Reservation. She loved singing, dancing, and making jokes. She enjoyed spending time with family and stealing peoples phones to take pictures.

Her favorite colors were purple and red. She loved herself some Mexican food and her favorite drink was Powerade. Tanisha attended Marty Indian School where she met Robert Abdo Jr. and had three children: Ariel "Bird", Robert III "Turbo", and Mathis "Bad Bear". Later in life she met and married Henry Bruguier Jr. which two children were born: A'Veree and A'Nayes.

She is survived by her children; mother Jolynn; godmother Shelly Selwyn; sisters Markita, Carleena, Lethrese, and Samantha.

She was preceded in death by father David Red Owl Sr.; brothers DeRon and David; grandparents Joseph and Karleen McBride.
