Thomas Beeson, 52, of Wagner

Tom died Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at the Assumption Catholic Church in Dante, SD. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Dante, SD. Visitation will be 5-7 PM, Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Peters Funeral Home in Wagner, SD.

Thomas F. Beeson passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner, at the age of 52. He battled ALS for three years.

Tom was born July 15, 1971 to Francis and JoAnn (Hron) Beeson in Wagner.

He married the love of his life Donna Wiersma on September 29, 2001.

Tom attended Wagner High School and graduated in 1989. He attended Mitchell-Votech for two years for Electronics. He worked at K's Kwik Stop, Buches in Wagner, and was the manager at the Gus Stop in White River for a couple of years before returning to Wagner. Once he was back in Wagner he worked for Wagner Building Supply for 22 years.

Tom served the community on the Wagner City Council.

Tom was patient, loving, kind, and caring. He enjoyed sports, watching movies, and his dogs.

Tom leaves behind his wife Donna of 22 years; stepdaughter Melissa VandenHoek of Mitchell; stepson Jeremy VandenHoek of Palm Springs, CA; twin brother James (Kristi) of Dante; sister Becky (Irv) Arndt of Owatonna, MN; mother JoAnn Beeson of Wagner; and his two beloved dogs Chaz and Elliot.

Tom was preceded in death by his stepson Timothy VandenHoek, dad Francis Beeson and brother David Beeson.
