Timber Rose Cournoyer, 33, of Yankton

Timber Cournoyer passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral services will be at Saturday, May 27, 2023 in Greenwood at the Greenwood Community Center at 11 A.M. Wake services will be Thursday and Friday at 7 P.M. at the Greenwood Community Center.

Timber Cournoyer passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Sioux Falls, SD.  Timber was born in Denver, CO on July 19,1989. She attended elementary school in White River. Then went on to middle school in St. Paul, MN and finished high school in Somerset, WI.

When Timber was in high school in Somerset, she had her first born son Dominic James Cournoyer Garcia. She attended Rasmussen College, while attending college, she had her twins Emerson Daniel and Emery Dean Murillo with Daniel Murillo. They then moved to Santeria, WI where Daniel was working from there. Timber moved to Arkansas and gave birth to Devin Issac Murillo. She moved back to Wisconsin when Devin was 2 months old.

After that she traveled around until she settled down in Rapid City, SD in 2013. In October of 2013 she had her son Adriel Rudolph Cournoyer. She then moved to Wisconsin briefly and returned to her mothers house in Greenwood, SD. In May of 2015 she had her one and only daughter Vanessa Rochelled Cournoyer. After having Vanessa she traveled to Texas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and Arkansas, finding her home in Yankton, SD.

She loved to travel and was fluent in Spanish, allowing her to connect with the majority of people she met. Her vibrant personality, outgoing nature, and positivity were a few of the many reasons she had so many friends and people who loved her.

She leaves behind her mother, Michelle Medicine Bear, her older brother Rudolph Edward Cournoyer, and her younger siblings; Keith Joseph Medicine Bear, Harold Medicine Bear Jr., Alaina Lynn Medicine Bear, Heather Michelle Medicine Bear, and Angeline Jayde Medicine Bear.

She also leaves behind many, many cousins, aunties and uncles, and nieces and nephews.
