Ursula N. Rouse, 49 of Wagner
Funeral Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Marty, with burial in the parish cemetery. Wake services will be at the South Housing Gym in Wagner.
Ursula died at her niece's home in rural Wagner on Saturday, April 23, 2016, under hospice care after a battle with cancer.
Ursula attended Mary Indian School K-12th. While attending Marty, Urs was a star basketball player and all enjoyed her games.
Ursula enjoyed playing cards, dice and dominoes, enjoying; time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, swimming, gardening; and watching movies (family time). Urs also opened her house to whomever entered and would give them a place to sleep and a warm meal, she enjoyed cooking. Ursula challenged and accomplished the title of Queen of the Hill in which she is still called to this day. She will always be remembered for her bouts.
She is survived by special friend, Bill Decker; daughters, Thrista (Tahleah, Tanaya), Alexis, Trinity, Aaliyah; brothers Roderick, Jesse, Duane, Desmond; sisters, Roderica, Danata, Beata, Sonia and Heather; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
