Visitation is Sunday from 2 to 6 PM with the family present from 2 to 3 PM and will continue Monday from 9 AM until noon at the Crosby-Jaeger Funeral Home in Wagner.

Vlasta Albina Blazek, daughter of John and Christina (Kubal) Nedved, was born August 25, 1918 at the family farm south of Wagner. She died Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at the Wagner Community Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer.

Vlasta graduated from Wagner High School in 1937. After graduation she worked at various housekeeping and waitress jobs in the area.

On January 2, 1946, she married Louis Blazek. After their marriage, they lived on a farm near Ravinia for two years and then moved to their own farm three miles south of Wagner. There they raised their two daughters, Linda and Lois.
