Wayne Williamson, 69, of Sioux Falls

Wake services will begin Tuesday at the American Legion Hall in Wagner. Funeral services are 11 AM, Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Legion Hall. Burial is in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Greenwood, with military honors. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner is in charge of arrangements.

Wayne Keith Williamson was born on the Ihanktonwan Reservation to Richard Williamson and Batherine (St. Pierre) Feather on April 19, 1951. He passed away Friday, April 16, 2021 at his home in Sioux Falls. He would have been 70 years old.

Wayne joined the United States Army at the age of 17 on April 17, 1970 through May 11, 1972. He was a PFC.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, baby son Williamson, brothers: John Williamson and Bobby White Shield (1/2 baby brother) and sister Barb Williamson. He will be laid to rest by his mother.

Wayne is survived by his children Michael and Cameo; stepchildren: Kateri, Adrian and Kristopher with Jean Zephier; daughter Kylene Williamson and son Kyle Williamson of Vermillion; 17 grandchildren; and brothers: Dale Williamson, Bill Williamson and Robbie White Shield.

He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
