Whitney McBride, 42, of Wagner

Funeral services are 1 PM, Monday, June 16, 2025 at the YST South Community Gym. Burial is in Holy Name Episcopal Cemetery (Choteau Creek), rural Dante. Wake services began Saturday at the South Gym.

Whitney Lorene McBride was born to Laura McBride and Lorenzo Many Ribs on the 26th of April 1983, in Garrison, North Dakota.
She entered the Spirit World on June 12, 2025 at 4:08pm at the Wagner Community Hospital, Wagner, South Dakota.

Whitney met the love of her life Keith Hayes, Sr. in the year of 2000. Together they brought four beautiful children into this world: Keith, Jr., Keirene Faye, Payden who died at birth, and Jack.

Whitney worked various jobs throughout her 43 years on earth, such as Lake Side Motel as a housekeeper, Casino as a porter, and Rookies.

She enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends. She was super outgoing, talented, funny, big hearted, smart and a very determined person when she needed to be. She loved her music as well as dancing.

She wasn't afraid of anything, she was very creative, it was her way or no way at all. When she came into a room, all bad vibes and negative feelings would leave the room. She loved her siblings; there wasn't anything she couldn't do for them.

Whitney leaves behind her 3 children: Keith, Jr., Keiren, and Jack; along with her brothers: Jordan "J-Rock" (Keirsten), Nelson (Nelson, Jr., Jersi, and Melanae), Cole Kazena (Chole) and Tierra (Johnnaye, Abe, Justin, Tysen, Sterling, and Jorison); Grandpa Terry McBride and Grandma Bernadette Zephier.

She will be greeted by her mom Laura McBride, baby sister Calene, son Payden, and Grandparents Berdelene Zephier-McBride and Calvin (Jack) McBride, Sr., and many other relatives.

She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
